After putting up our tree we realized that our apartment sized tree looked pretty ridiculous with our high ceilings. We figure it'll do for now since there's so much stuff higher up on our list to replace. Last year for Christmas we decided to just buy stuff together which was nice but made Christmas morning pretty lame since we both knew what was coming. This year we worked it in our budgets to do Christmas right.

Mike opening a pair of slippers which he needed because of our freezing floors.
This year was also special because my husband and family really made my birthday special. I had two family parties and then Mike took me out for my actual birthday. I'm horrible about actually taking pictures so sorry for the lacking photo evidence.

Yeah a new post. I am glad that you had a great Christmas and birthday. We all had fun too. I am so glad that we were all able to get together to celebrate both. We love your house and hope you guys enjoy it. Now I will just have to send my kids there to stay with you now that you have room!=)
