Adventures in Babysitting

Last night we babysat Jill's kids, Kaelyn and Austin. We are starting to believe that the nieces and nephews aren't coming over for Mike and I anymore but more for Brawny.

Mike and Austin became buddies very quickly. Kids love Mike!

Brawny's First Sleepover

Last weekend our niece, Scarlett, spent the night so that she could see Brawny. She adores him and it's pretty obvious that he loves her too. We had a short but fun visit with Scarlett.

They took naps together.

They shared snacks.

They went to the park and played together.

I think it's safe to say they are best buds!!

Proud Puppy Parent Moment!

Today Brawny graduated from his puppy basics training. He learned how to sit, stay, lay down, drop things and leave things alone. He also learned a few tricks like roll-over, shake, wave and high five. Here is a picture of Brawny and his trainer, Angela, doing shake.

He will gladly shake anyone's hand as long as there is food involved :)
He really didn't like the hat but my sister and I insisted on getting some pictures with him in it!
