Good News...Bad News

The Davies family got some new additions recently two Lab/Akita puppies!
Their names are Cubby and Rascal.

They are adorable and we all love them so much (even Mike).
Here's Cubby sleeping:
Sadly a week later Rascal became very ill and passed away.
Here's a few pictures of the precious puppy:

Thanks Steph!!

My sister surprised us with a free night at the Santa Ana/Costa Mesa Courtyard.  We graciously accepted and were ready to get away.  We started off our weekend by going to the Block at Orange.  It was a beautiful day and we had a blast walking around!  For lunch we ate a New York Pizzeria and the slices of pizza were HUGE.  After going in every store, and walking until our feet were sore, we finally went to the hotel.
The first thing that we do is check what's on the CABLE TV!!
Just a random picture of me!
Our relaxing weekend had to include a trip down to the spa.
But Mike thought it was too hot and decided to take a late night swim.  He'll probably kill me for putting his macho man picture on our blog.  Oh well!

Angels Game

One day while I was at work I got an email that my uncle had tickets that he needed to get rid of.  Of course I jumped at the chance to go to an ANGELS GAME!!  We were even more excited because it was game two of the series against the Yankees!  The night before the Angels' killed the Yankees and were one game out of clinching the division, so we had our hopes way up.  We were like little kids on Christmas morning!  We showed up a little late and it was already not looking good for our boys.  It just continued to get worse so my poor husband had to eat his feelings.  I told him we needed a picture for the blog but he refused to look happy!  So this is his fake smile:

We walked away from our Angels nightmare just excited that we could be there.  The last time we went to Angels game was our third date when we went with Jill and Paul.  The Angels got killed that time too!  I'm still convinced we are bad luck to the team.
Look how close we were though!!

The Boys and Their Video Games

It was tough to pull the boys away from their Mario baseball.
I just had to make Mike one of the boys.
Once again they're glued to their baseball game.

"Family" trip to Corona Del Mar

Scarlett and I built a sand castle.
We then went to the water to clean up.  Don't let the picture fool you.  She was terrified of the water at first but warmed up to it after seeing the fun her brothers were having.
Mike and Bonski enjoyed having their feet sink in the sand.  Notice that Scarlett is taller than Bonski.
Here's all of them sinking their feet into the sand.

Some Great Scarlett Moments

Scarlett really enjoyed playing her Game "Girl."
This is a game Scarlett invented for her and her puppies.  They were in "boats" crossing the bridge of video games.  They needed the bridge because the floor was lava.
She got a little distracted by one of the video games.
Sometimes she would get sassy, or it's just another one of her great poses.
